Taedra Kogan is an attorney in Dalimonte Rueb Stoller’s San Diego office and has over 20 years of legal experience. Prior to joining Dalimonte Rueb Stoller, Taedra built a successful national legal practice representing individuals injured by pharmaceutical and medical device companies. She and her colleagues provided legal representation to individuals intimidated by the financial ability to go up against multi-billion-dollar corporations, such as Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, and Monsato.
Taedra began her legal career practicing in the United Arab Emirates with the internationally-recognized, Washington, D.C.-based law firm, Patton Boggs LLP. After her years practicing international law, Taedra moved to Los Angeles, where she developed an entertainment practice representing A-list actors, writers and directors. She was involved in the production of numerous well-known film and television series. Taedra partnered with production executives and legal departments at multiple film and television studios, including Disney, Paramount, Miramax, NBC, CBS and ABC. She successfully aligned with agents from William Morris Endeavor (WME), Creative Artist Agency (CAA), and International Creative Management (ICM) to ensure her clients received the highest level of representation. She simultaneously developed an expertise in Digital Advertising, enabling her to grow her practice exponentially, and eventually began consulting other law firms to do the same.
Taedra was admitted to the New York bar in 1996 and is pending admission to both the Washington, D.C. Bar and the United States District Court – Southern District of New York. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis, where she worked with the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, was awarded a competitive collegiate internship at the American Bar Association and rowed on the University’s Varsity Crew. She graduated from Western New England University School of Law in 1995, where she represented teacher unions with the National Education Association and worked at the Massachusetts Attorney General – Consumer Protection Department.
Taedra’s focus on serving the community extends beyond legal representation, as she continues to remain active within her community.
