Mr. Rueb began his legal career as a Contra Costa County Deputy District Attorney prosecuting criminals and developing his trial skills.

In 1992, Mr. Rueb joined a prestigious San Francisco Bay Area law firm, where he became one of the youngest partners in the firm’s history. After a successful tenure at the firm, where he rapidly became the top-earner while focusing his work on personal injury and wrongful death, he left in 2003 to establish his own practice.

Having tried more than 75 jury trials with only one loss, he has established himself as an effective and persuasive trial attorney and hard-nosed negotiator. During his 29 year legal career, he has successfully represented tens of thousands of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, mass tort, and personal injury claimants, taken and defended over 750 expert and witness depositions, reviewed over 10,000 medical records, participated in over 500 mediations, and successfully recovered over $250,000,000 for his clients.

Mr. Rueb presently serves as a lead and liaison counsel in complex consolidated mass torts and as a member of their executive committees, plaintiff steering committees and subcommittees. He represents tens of thousands of plaintiffs in a wide variety of pharmaceutical, medical device and toxic torts, and has received numerous awards and accolades from his peers and clients as a top lawyer nationwide.

He has served on campaign and finance committees for six different candidates running for countywide elections. Furthermore, he has lectured and given presentations on personal injury and mass tort law and has received numerous community awards.

Personal

Mr. Rueb lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and has three teenaged children. He has been an avid Golden State Warrior and a San Jose Shark season ticket holder for over 25 years; he is an Eagle Scout, enjoys coaching, playing with and raising his children, is on a multi-championship winning bocce team, and actively engages in regular exercise, including golf, tennis and mountain biking.

Education

Mr. Rueb is a 1991 graduate of the McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. Prior to which he completed a B.S. in biology with an emphasis in chemistry from University of Pacific.
